Tanuj Hazari is an Associate Partner at KNM & Partners, where he plays a pivotal role in the Firm’s Banking & Finance, Real Estate and Corporate Advisory Practices. With nearly 14 years of experience, Tanuj brings multi-disciplinary expertise across complex financial transactions, real estate structuring, debt resolution and regulatory matters. He is also an Advocate-on-Record at the Supreme Court of India, further strengthening the Firm’s litigation and dispute resolution capabilities.

Tanuj has advised leading financial institutions, NBFCs, FPIs, asset reconstruction companies, and corporates on high-value structured finance, distressed asset acquisition, loan syndication and private placements. His deep understanding of debt restructuring is complemented by extensive work in M&A, joint ventures, private equity, and cross-border transactions across sectors such as e-commerce, aviation and infrastructure.

In the real estate sector, Tanuj has worked with developers, investors, and financiers on complex land aggregation, joint development agreements, and luxury branding collaborations. He has also guided clients through regulatory compliance under RERA and project documentation, enabling smooth execution and financing of landmark developments.

Tanuj’s practice also extends to indirect taxation and insolvency, where he represents clients in disputes before Supreme Court, CESTAT, High Courts, and NCLT, and advises on the resolution of stressed assets, including the submission of resolution plans.

A recognized thought leader, Tanuj is a regular contributor to prominent legal publications and has authored several articles on cryptocurrency, debt financing, arbitration, and tax law.
