Pallavi Tayal Chadda is an Advocate-on-Record before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and an Associate Partner at KNM & Partners. With over 14 years of experience, Pallavi specializes in dispute resolution, civil and commercial litigation, and arbitration, representing clients across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, real estate, insolvency, and financial services.
Beginning her legal career under the mentorship of the Late Shri Rupinder Singh Suri, Senior Advocate and former Additional Solicitor General of India, Pallavi gained significant exposure to constitutional law, service law, and labour law. Over the years, she has built a strong track record of handling high-value, complex disputes across courts, tribunals, and arbitral forums in India.
Pallavi’s practice spans strategic litigation advisory, trial and appellate advocacy, arbitration, and regulatory litigation. She regularly appears before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, High Courts, National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), and Arbitral Tribunals. Her in-depth understanding of arbitration law and the insolvency framework allows her to navigate complex cross-border disputes and financial claims effectively.
Pallavi also advises on corporate disputes, insolvency proceedings, regulatory enforcement, and infrastructure project disputes. She is known for her litigation strategy, meticulous approach to drafting, and hands-on courtroom advocacy.
She holds a Master’s degree in Business Laws from the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore, and is an alumnus of the Faculty of Law, Delhi University.

- Supreme Court Advocacy: Represented the State of Punjab on water-sharing disputes concerning the Sutlej Canal before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.
- Energy & Infrastructure: Advised Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a joint venture of four PSUs, on UJALA project-related disputes in Uttar Pradesh.
- Cross-Border Debt Recovery: Represented an IRP from Nicosia for debt recovery and insolvency-linked claims within Indian jurisdiction.
- Competition & Regulatory Litigation: Represented Greaves Cotton Ltd. before COMPACT in a matter concerning abuse of dominant position.
- Construction & Arbitration: Acted for Airport Authority of India and several infrastructure companies in arbitration proceedings and litigation, securing favorable awards.
- SARFAESI & Banking Litigation: Successfully secured a stay order from the Punjab and Haryana High Court in a SARFAESI proceeding, preventing possession actions.
- Insolvency & Company Law: Regularly argues matters under Sections 241 and 242 of the Companies Act, 2013 before NCLT and NCLAT, including shareholder oppression and mismanagement claims.
- Medical Negligence & Consumer Litigation: Represented clients in high-stakes medical negligence claims before the National Commission.
