Amit Srivastava, a Principal Associate at KNM & Partners, is having over 29 years of experience in the field of law. He has vast experience in successfully representing government, semi-government as well as the corporate sector clients-both of India and International. His practice embraces a wide range of complex litigation matters, including arbitration, commercial, consumer, criminal, labour, etc.
Apart from above, he has vastly worked for factory setup of a few Japanese conglomerates by providing legal due diligence and execution of the deeds and documents including but not limited to coordination with government and related institutions like GIDC, GPCB, Gujarat Maritime Board, iNDEXTb, UGVCL, etc.
He also advises on litigation strategy, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution while working closely with in-house legal team and corporate sector clients.

Revenue Law, Legal Due Diligence & execution of documents
- Represented an Indo-Japanese MNC (Multi-National Corporation) with respect to due diligence and execution of lease deed at Kadi, Gujarat, India.
- Represented METI (Government of Japan)-entrusted project proposed at Sanand, Gujarat, India, for a Japanese Bank.
- Represented a real estate developer for the execution of lease deed of a JMC land at Jamnagar, Gujarat, India.
- Represented a client for execution of a commercial office space in Surat Diamond Bourse at Surat, Gujarat, India.
- Assisted a European company for legal due diligence at Padra, Vadodara, Gujarat, India with respect to proposed take-over of a Vadodara-based pharma company.
- Successfully defended a Japanese Company before Mamlatdar court at Mandal, Gujarat, India, with respect to land dispute matter raised by its previous landowner.
Labour & Employment Disputes
- Advising and representing a Japanese Company for its labour law disputes as well as employment related queries.
- Providing updates as well as legal advice on labour laws, more particularly, on the newly introduced four (4) labour law codes and affiliated state rules
- Provided labour-law and employment related due diligence for an agro-based enterprise engaged in ayurvedic medicines.
- Provides advice on employment disputes and labour law compliance.
Compliance & Regulatory Advisory
- Assisted a Vadodara-based pharmaceutical company for its legal due diligence, land identification, water sourcing and discharge along with environmental clearances through coordination meetings held with respective offices of the Collector, GIDC, GPCB, SSNNL, etc.
- Assisted a Japanese company for its legal due diligence, land identification, electricity connection, import and storage of raw material(s) along with environmental clearances through coordination meetings held with respective offices of GIDC, UGVCL, GPCB, iNDEXTb, Gujarat Maritime Board, etc.
Commercial & Dispute Resolution
- Successfully represent clients in Arbitration, Commercial, Consumer, Labour, NCLT, NGT, Sec. 138 NI Act matters, etc.
- Successfully defended a Japanese Company before revenue authority at Mandal, Gujarat, India, with respect to land dispute matter raised by its alleged previous landowners.
- Provides legal opinion on queries raised by the client(s).
